Senator Kenneth Alexander requested that the Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers complete a comprehensive study on creating a “limited funeral director only” license that would allow a licensee to provide funeral directing services without engaging in embalming.

Dr. Reynolds-Cane response was that she would submit the request for the study to be conducted by the Board of Health Professions.
